THE WITCH WOUND
A fear of persecution
Being burned at the stake
For showing yourself as spiritual
Or into 'woowoo' things
Because of a literal fear of death.
"Do you dim your own light, shrink yourself, and hide your gifts? Do you doubt and diminish your emotions and intuition? Do you often feel like you are both “too much” and “not enough” for society? You may carry the age-old spiritual trauma known as the Witch Wound." - Mage by Moonlight
The Salem witch trials killed millions of women.
But what isn't talked about,
Is how EVERY woman has intuitive abilities,
Hunches,
An ability to see
Feel her own inner voice
Instead of being conditioned and indoctrinated to follow a 'middle man to God' outside of Her.
God, Source, Universe is within each and every one of us.
Even the ones that killed and hung those millions of women.
It's a fear of shining and being bold.
It's a fear of being too much, or not enough.
But
You have a duty and responsibility to own your power.
And step into your gifts.
And SHINE.
The Witch Wound is the intergenerational trauma that has been passed down through our ancestors or pain that we hold of a past life where we, ourselves, were persecuted and hunted for being what people perceive as “witches.” - Medium
The history of witches is, after all, a history of the persecution of women, or as author and theorist Eric Jong called it, a “gendercide”.
SHINE.

SPEAK.
BE ALL IN.
RELISH in your intuition.
